I’m going to give you more detail on Yarrow.
There are some similarities between Blue Tansy and Yarrow. Blue Tansy is positioned as a topical oil, we felt it’s better suited for topical circumstances and instances.
It’s not that they can’t be used in other ways.
We see similarities in Blue Tansy and Yarrow but they don’t do the same or exact things.
There’s some duplicative chemistry that exists, when we see chemistry and we see it’s duplicated, just because it’s similar doesn’t mean it’s going to behave or do the same things. There’s some balance that exists there.
Let’s look at the differences. They both have similar things associated with them.
In this case, we see they’re all the same chemicals but present in varying amounts.
This is important from a key concept, there is dominant chemistry in one versus the other.
When we have substantially more of one compound, it has more profound and synergistic benefits.
Dominance can be the sheer amount or how the chemicals work together.
Chemical synergy occurs when we combine Germacrene-D and BCP.
We see even greater healing properties and this is why we got excited about this oil.
Some of these oils are years in the making, we’ve been working towards it for a long period of time.
I got excited by how it supports the body in its natural processes in the metabolic sequence.
This is the inflammation pathway, what happens is we have arachidonic acid it’s an amino acid stimulating a cascade leading to prostaglandins and it can be very disruptive to tissues.
This oil demonstrates all we know and believe about essential oils and is one of the reasons we are so protective of our oils and why quality really matters.
It’s because of processes like this.
Essential oils have to be in the form that we provide them or they will not create the benefits we expect.
We know exactly what’s happening with the oils biochemically, biologically and how they are impacting the body.
One of the things we see with oils is how they interact within systems.
We never think this pathway has any values associated with it but this has chronic and acute conditions associated with it.
In an acute circumstance it might be some type of injury, non-chronic illness or process that is temporary.
This is a healthy process for your body to go through.
Yarrow protects sensitive tissues like brain, central nervous system, it’s also really good to help with muscular tissue regeneration.
It helps our muscles become stronger and more resilient.
There’s a chronic side and that’s what we get concerned about.
It’s not just chamazulene, all of the chemistry works together, but one of the things about chamazulene is that they have the ability to interact with that pathway in a healthy normalizing way. We can have the body react in a better framework .
It can take chronic nature of challenges and help us.
Everyone of us in doTERRA as owners uses the oils, we care about them because we use them, we talk about because we use them, we share because we use them.
This isn’t just Yarrow, it’s Yarrow./Pom.
Yarrow has no nutritive density but pomegranate seed oil does, so I’ll call it a nutritive complex.
We took non volatiles (pomegranate seed oil) and combined with volatiles from the Yarrow. And what’s unique about that is because it allows similar benefits between the two but they work through different pathways.
In combination they create metabolic support. When you think about metabolism, it’s all encompassing, it reverses a lot of different frameworks and deals with the organs and tissues involved in metabolism.
Think about the liver and pancreas. It’s involved in the processes themselves creating efficiency and outcomes.
I like this opportunity – you can expect more things like this.
In doTERRA we’ve never been content to maintain status quo or do what everyone else is doing. We’ve always been a company of firsts.
This is the first in an introduction to many things we’ll do this way, that I’m really excited about.
I wish you could see in the background who’s working and helping to accomplish this task. You get to see all we’re doing in the communities and sourcing but do you know within doTERRA there are more than 2000 employees who work tirelessly to bring this to fruition.
We are grateful for their efforts.
Pomegranate seed oil
This is comprised of fatty acids. You’ll know they are referred to as building blocks and they are utilised in a variety of metabolic pathways.
When we look at pomegranate we can source in many ways.
There’s CO2 extraction but we don’t see the chemistry we’re looking for.
The two fatty acids we’re looking for are Punicic Acid and a rare source of conjugated linoleic acid (CLA).
CLA is sometimes referred to omega 5. It deals with the structure of fatty acid and where double bonds are located. We get plenty of CLA in our diet from meats and high fat dairy products. This is unique because of the purity and that it comes from a fruit.
We look at it and wonder about the value and benefits and it’s clear to see these two work well together.
Yarrow and Pom’s Punicic Acid and CLA exhibit synergy for receptor targets.
They create dynamic effect, we look at how compounds interact with one another. We’ve began to look at the docking of the chemistry, looking at the individual molecules and we can see where they interact with body.
We combine those together we get a good framework for how the oil will perform.
doTERRA’s essential oils behave differently than others.
When we have a change in the chemistry we have decrease of the value associated. We can look at this very specifically and can look at targets and see extent. We can see where they are interacting within them.
We have synergy with this blend but clearly different pathways.
BCP good for CB2 activation, a primary benefit is the ability to help tissues from being broken down or disrupted.
When we look at the HMGCR pathway that’s specific to help the body maintain normal cholesterol responses.
The more we discover about essential oils the more I want to say they make your wildest dreams come true.
Sometimes, within the framework we have to discuss, we find it challenging [to be compliant].
Can I have you make a commitment to me, do not become limited in your willingness to share them. To share the excitement and enthusiasm you have for them.
We all know people who have serious illnesses. I have never met a person who essential oils could not benefit, we just have to be willing to share them.
When we have tissue disruption the Punicic Acid and CLA can make that less of a challenge.
Oils interact that allows them to be supportive to body through all processes. If we distil it down to a few things, one of the things for me is cardiovascular health.
We’ve talked about having products specifically for cardiovascular health and this is the first step.
This is supportive of healthy blood pressure, supports healthy cholesterol levels. It supports healthy heart tissue and function, all tissues need resiliency and this is a product that can help achieve that more fully.
It’s also used for metabolic dysfunction.
When we look at adipose tissue we can see chemical changes occur within that. It’s not necessarily more fat cells when we’re overweight, it’s that they change chemically.
Normal fat cells have more adiponectin and lower resistin and TNF hormones produced in the cells. They are in balance.
One of the chemical changes we see and why this is so helpful is it can help the body gain a more normalised approach and balance.
We see an inverse relationship.
TNF is responsible for a lot of tissue damage. Resistin is an agonist causing problems with insulin usage. Adoponectin helps the body facilitate those processes.
Yarrow Pom normalises more of those processes and makes it easier for body to overcome problems.
Sometimes it’s important to know what’s not in the oil. What’s not in the oil is thujone, which is a neurotoxin, however there are yarrows on the market that do contain thujone.
Apply topically to soothe skin. use in combination with Frankincense and Cedarwood
